THE HOUSE
Founded towards the second half of the 15th
century as a small convent by the community of the monks of the Rosa di Siena, this
charming country residence has been attentively restored only recently, putting in
evidence the beauty of its architecture. The position in the typical scenery of the Orcia
valley is isolated and very quiet, with wonderful views ranging from Monte Amiata over the
wide valley as far as Pienza with pope Pius’ palazzo. This area in the southern
province of Siena (45 km) offers interesting villages to visit: Pienza and Montalcino (10
km), Montepulciano (20 km), S. Quirico (6 km), Bagno Vignoni (3 km, thermal spas with
ancient basin) Castiglion d'Orcia (3 km, shops).
APARTMENTS
It is divided in 2 spacious apartments, each typically
decorated and tastefully furnished with some authentic pieces and with a private, separate
outdoor space. Viola - mq. 130 - (Sleeps 4+2) Ground floor: spacious living/dining room with kitchen corner, living
room with panoramic views and double sofa bed, double room with bathroom (bathtub), twin
bedded room, bathroom with shower. Valentina - mq. 110 - (Sleeps 4+2)
