THE HOUSE
Set amongst the oak woods of the "Montagnola" hills, south-west of Siena, Casa Roberta is a typical house of the Tuscan countryside, with a covered terrace in front of and beside it. This is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday in a natural ambiente, offering good tranquillity even if the position is not isolated. A small country lane leads through red coloured fields and vineyards to the village of Sovicille (3 km; various shops and facilities), while Siena is at only 12 km. Therefore many interesting towns and spots of the area, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pienza, Montalcino, or to the famous Chianti area, are easy to reach for a day trip.
