THE HOUSE
This apartment is situated in a country house with a little watchtower dating back to the 15^th century, which originally was an outpost of the Castle of Travale. Since its construction, the property belongs to the same family. The house lies in an area called Colline Metallifere, west of Siena (45 km), immerged in extensive woods, and is ideal for those who like tranquillity. The building, a part of which is occupied by a caretaker and occasionally by the owners (who may use the pool), has been restored maintaining most original features and. The spacious garden develops on some terraces, on one of which there’s the swimming pool. The Tyrrhenian coast (Follonica) is at approx. 55 km; Siena km 45, S.Galgano abbey km 25. Various shops can be found in Montieri (7 km).
