THE HOUSE
In elevated position above the Paglia valley, this
beautiful Tuscan farmhouse overlooks a characteristic landscape. The house has been very
carefully restored, maintaining typical features of the local architecture such as wood
beams, brick floors and characteristic fire-places, and divided into two independent
apartments. The Paglia valley is crossed by the Cassia road, connecting since Roman times
Rome with Florence. This area in southern Tuscany, between the provinces of Siena and
Viterbo, offers characteristic towns such as San Quirico dOrcia, Pienza,
Montepulciano and Montalcino (famous wines) and interesting places with ancient Etruscan
origins (Sovana, Sorano). Thermal spas in San Casciano dei Bagni. Grocery stores at
Acquapendente and Celle sul Rigo (14 km).
