THE HOUSE
La Doccia is a new built house in the Chianti hills
sloping down towards the Arno valley, at 4 km from Castelnuovo dei Sabbioni (various
shops). One of the 3 apartments (n° 1) is situated on the ground floor and has its own
outdoor space, whilst n° 2 and n° 3 have their entrance from a common terrace: even if
n° 2 and 3 are under the roof (near the walls sometimes the ceiling is very low), the
rooms are spacious and light. When the three apartments are rented together, La Doccia is
a good solution for small groups or families, wanting to stay together in a single
property. The position is quiet and allows nice views overlooking the Arno valley and the
surrounding woods, that in part belong to the Cavriglia nature park. At the same time
Siena and Florence are both only 45 km away, and the easy access to the motorway A1
(Florence - Rome, 10 km) allows one to reach many interesting spots within a short time.
EQUIPMENTS
Heating. At the guest's disposal a nice Swimming Pool within the well kept grounds.
APARTMENTS
The furnishings are simple yet functional.
N° 1- mq. 85 - (sleeps 6) Ground floor: spacious living/dining room with kitchen corner and
fireplace, double room, 2 twin bedded rooms, bathroom with shower.
N° 2 and 3 - mq. 30 - (sleeps 2+1) 1st floor/attic, access from a terrace: living/dining room
with kitchen corner and single sofa bed, double room, bathroom with shower.
