Founded in 1946 by the Earl Gaddo della Gherardesca on its grounds in front the sea, the Cantiere Navale Donoratico, after almost twenty years from its cutback, still remembered for its successes in rowing, field in which was specialized, but also for sports craft realizations. A careful and minute reorganization project turned it today into a modern three sup. stars resort on an area of 25 hectares characterized by high trunk maritime pines and rich in vegetation, along a coast, unique for position, nature, beach and sea.  In place of the old yards today new buildings were realized. They include the central building called "La Vela" whose its semicircular form cover reminds to the old roof, typical of sheds of that period, as well as other 8 building where 176 units are located, divided into accommodations of several size, rooms and suite. The resort has been built in the maximum respect for nature, between sand dunes and high trunk maritime pines typical of the Mediterranean vegetation. The beach is wide with fine sand while the very nice sea, in that expanse, is characterized by a depth that gets down slowly and gradually. An oasis in other words ... suitable also for the most demanding customers, the resort, considered its location, offers relaxing and funny holidays, besides the immediate closeness to many tourist resort of Tuscany which makes this area one of the most requested, for culture, art, gastronomy, landscape and sport.
FACILITIES: Reception, shuttle bus service from and to the car park, swimming pool for adults and children with Whirlpool, private beach with reserved beach umbrellas and sun-loungers.
The tourist facility offers the following service to be paid: coffee bar, self-service restaurant, “à la carte" restaurant "La Vela" on a large covered veranda with sea view, grill restaurant “Il Galeone Salvador” (closed in the evening in case of bad weather), where in the evening you can always enjoy delicious grilled meat and fish and drink the famous Bolgheri wines, small supermarket with newspapers and foodstuffs.

Wellness centre “Isola dei Pescatori” with Whirlpool, Turkish bath with chromotherapy, essence showers, massages, beauty treatments, hair stylist and large relax area facing the sea, surrounded by scents and colours of the sea dunes.
Inside the park there is the outdoor pizzeria “La Pineta” (closed in the evening in case of bad weather).
Possible weekly agreement cards to be reserved on the premises (save availability) to benefit from the following services: buffet restaurant, Mini Club, Young Club and sporting/recreational activities.
The tourist facility is closed to the traffic and the guests can park their cars at the specially provided area located at a distance of about 900 m and reach the tourist facility by means of a shuttle bus service (available day and night*). The car park is private, unattended, shady and equipp. On arrival the guests must park their cars here and make use of the shuttle bus service also for the luggage transfer to the receptioned with a fencing.

 RESIDENCE FORMULA: 
Arrangement in flats with overnight only. Flats: located on the ground, first or second, floor, furnished with taste  in the "modern marinates " style, are equipped with TV SAT, PAY TV, telephone, air conditioned (with charge), bathroom with shower and hairdryer. All flats are equipped with patio or balcony for taking meals outside ( excluded type "mono 3").
Type Mono 3 beds: living room with kitchenette, double sofa bed, bathroom. Patio or balcony not available. Possibility of 3rd bed (single bed type " » couchette"). Cot available.
Type Bilo 4 beds: living room with kitchenette, double sofa bed with 2nd foldaway bed or double sofa bed, double room, bathroom, patio or balcony. Possibility of 5th bed or cradle (or both).
Type Trilo 6 beds: living room with kitchenette, double sofa bed with 2nd foldaway bed, double room, double room with two low beds, bathroom, patio or balcony. Possibility of 7th bed (bunk beds) or cot (or both).
Pets: not allowed.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Deals Services (compulsory over 2 years), for use water, electricity, gas, bed linen and towels changed weekly, included satellite TV and telephone in apartment, parking in unassigned parking, beach service with 1 beach umbrella and two beds housing unit in the third row, final cleaning (excluding kitchen by the customer or otherwise charge of E. 30). (For stays of less than 7 days minimum € 50.00)

€ 140 up after the 25/06 and 27/08, from 25/06 to 27/08 € 175 which includes 7 meals to be eaten at the restaurant choice between the "Gorgon" and Pizzeria "La Pineta", excluding drinks. Children 2/10 years old 50% discount. Reductions in children 2/10 years are valid for meals at the restaurant "The Pirate's Tavern." For meals at the restaurant "La Gorgona" supplement of € 49,00 per week (minimum € 49.00 payable locally).

€ 49 per person per week. Includes shuttle service and as described in "Entertainment Sports and Entertainment".

OPTIONAL SERVICES
