 IL RESIDENCE
On
the beautiful promenade of Tirrenia, midway between Pisa and Livorno,
inside a Natural Park which overlooks the sea with a splendid view on
the Gorgona and Capraia Islands, lies this neo-classical building of
the Principi di Piemonte colony.
A
charming place, often visited by Gabriele D' Annunzio and chosen as
background for the film "the English patient", which have turned,
thanks to a careful restoration work, on a residential and suggestive
tourist complex .
Located close to the deep and wide stretch characterized by fine sand
and striking dunes, the complex consists, as in origin, of two
different buildings connected through a long corridor with large glass
windows. Well integrated in these two blocks, the apartments are often
different each from the other, in order to keep both the original
forms and the walls; the flats are very tastefully well-finished and
are equipped with new furniture and fittings. Its strategic position
is suitable for spending a relaxing holiday; the beautiful coast of
Tirrenia characterized by wide and fine beaches, sea lightly sloping
down depths and, in the inland, by a thick secular pinewood and the
closeness to the town center, where many services are available for a
really pleasant holiday.
FACILITIES:
at
the guests' disposal: reception,
laundry token, private car park internal to the property. On the
stretch of sand in front of the residence: private beach with beach
umbrellas, deckchairs and sun beds (with charge).
In Tirrenia
various services available such as, restaurants, bar, pub,
discotheques, pizzerie, kiosks, tobacconists', boutiques, chemist's,
medical service, etc.
Mini
club
(for children 4/12 years old), managed by qualified staff, in reserved
zone at scheduled times. Games, entertainings and special evenings.
SPORTS:
swimming pool equipped for grown-ups and children (opened from 27/05
to 24/09), bar at the swimming pool, five-a-side football field, bikes
and mountain bikes, biliard, ping-pong. Possibility to practise on the
beach aquatic sports besides beach volley and French bowls.
In
addition, two 9 holes or 18 holes golf courts; at 1 km CONI centre

located on the ground, first or second floor, they are furnished with
taste and refinement, and equipped with the most modern comforts, tv,
air conditioned (with charge), washing machine; they've rooms always
with low beds (not bunk beds).
